the brief:

To create an event identity for a satellite screening of TEDx Sydney that is inspirational, conveys spark and ignites business creativity.

The Solution:

Initially, the client (the two sponsors of the event) wanted their branding to feature in the event identity but the muted colours of the collective brands were never going to convey ‘ignite’ or ‘spark’, so we needed to go AWOL. It was risky business but it paid off in the end by utilising this vibrant pink and yellow light bulb graphic. We felt it aligned much more accurately to the title and nature of the event.

The Result:

A very simple, bright, zippy identity that visually conveyed the message. The client loved it.
